Quality Approach

Waterproofing requires an uncompromising approach to work specifications, product selection, and application. Although waterproofing typically accounts for only 2–3% of a new construction project’s budget, it is responsible for around 80% of warranty and defect claims. The importance of quality waterproofing is heightened because most applied waterproofing membranes are quickly covered by tiles and other materials, making it difficult to assess the quality of the installation until problems arise.

Technical advice

Our experienced technicians recommend the best products for your project and, when necessary, consult with our strategic product suppliers. We encourage collaboration with builder clients during the design and construction stages to assist with waterproofing specifications, scope of work, and sequencing, ensuring a quality outcome that complies with BCA and AS:3740/4654 standards.

Applicator Training

Training is a key focus at Bravada. All our applicators receive extensive on-site training and instruction from our strategic product suppliers. Additionally, all Residential Applicators hold a Certificate III in Waterproofing from recognized institutions such as Melbourne Polytechnic. To maintain quality control, Bravada employs permanent applicators rather than subcontractors.

Warranties

Bravada stands behind its work with meaningful warranties. As a large and stable company, we plan to be around for the long term, unlike many other waterproofing contractors. We typically offer warranties of 7 years for work covered under AS:3740/4654, with the possibility of longer warranties depending on the membrane type and any extended warranties from the product manufacturer.
